Weaving Traditions: Create and design your own Halloween and Day of the Dead-inspired crafts.

**Workshop objective:**

"In this workshop, you'll learn to create a pair of hand-woven diamond-shaped earrings (Eye of God), using a metal base designed exclusively for this course. With unique combinations of colors and textures inspired by the Halloween and Day of the Dead festivities, this project will allow you to explore your creativity while introducing you to the art of woven jewelry, creating original and personalized pieces that reflect these celebrations."

**Scope of the workshop:**

Designed for people of all levels, from beginners to those experienced in the art of mandala weaving.

You'll learn artisanal earring weaving techniques on a metal base, allowing you to create unique earrings. At the end of the workshop, you'll have a pair of themed earrings perfect for Halloween and the Day of the Dead festivities, and you'll also acquire a new creative skill that you can apply to future woven jewelry projects. A perfect opportunity to create art and take a piece of Mexican culture with you!

What you will learn in the course:

1. Basic weaving techniques on a metal frame designed exclusively for this course.

2. Design and weave a pair of diamond-shaped earrings (Eye of God), with a custom geometric base, fusing the art of weaving with artisanal jewelry.

3. Combining colors and textures inspired by Halloween and the Day of the Dead, creating unique pieces that reflect these traditional festivities in a creative and modern way.

4.  Finishing and assembly techniques to transform fabric into ready-to-wear jewelry, ensuring that the pieces are durable and of high quality.

5. How to find inspiration in Mexican cultural traditions and turn that inspiration into tangible art through woven jewelry.
